We invite you to come and take part in a Robot workshop session where we shall be discussing how to combine robots and children doing physical challenges, with mscapes, the interactive capability of the Big Screen in Millennium Square and any other ideas you may suggest.

BBC Big Screen Bristol are enthusiastic about the idea and we may (BBC technical wizardry permitting) be able to have a test run on the Big Screen of video feed from a head camera attached to a robot strolling about Millennium Square later in the afternoon.

Taking part in the session: Matt Thurling– Science TV, David Buckley– Roboticist who built the two robots you can see in the videos below, Shelly Dewhurst– AtBristol, Claire Rocks– Walking with Robots project and UWE, Constance Fleuriot- PMStudio Producer, (and later her children for testing!) and Liz Milner- Watershed's development co-ordinator for young people’s engagement.
