Digital Britain is an initiative designed to stimulate innovation in business models, applications, services and technologies. Calvium and Matter 2 Media have been awarded funding through the scheme and invite you to discuss the findings of their feasibility studies.

Calvium's Jo Reid will be presenting "Joined Up Britain". Her talk will present the current design and open up a discussion around some of the issues with user generated content and business models plus solicit ideas for campaigns and further funding.

Tim Kindberg of Matter 2 Media will speak about his "Digital Crystals" study for which he designed and implemented crystals, intelligent signage devices located in public places such as retail, bus stops, waiting rooms, clubs etc. Crystals are internet-connected affordable, mobile-friendly and collectively programmable for city-wide campaigns. Tim will also open up a discussion about his project.
