On Thursday Digital Bristol Week breaks out of the BBC building and heads out onto the streets of Bristol. Creative companies across the city will be throwing open their doors and inviting people to go behind the scenes of the city. The Studio is very happy to be involved and we will be hosting an Open Studio all afternoon. You can pop in at any time from 12:00 - 17:00 or book a free tour here.

If you have never visited the Studio before, we are a unique multi-disciplinary lab where a brilliant community of artists, creative companies, technologists and academics, including UWE's Digital Cultures Research Centre, come together to work on commercial and cultural projects in the area of pervasive media. Pervasive Media is any experience which uses sensors and internet connectivity to bring you content that’s sensitive to your situation – which could be where you are, how you feel, or who you are with.

We would love to show you around, introduce you to some fantastic people and demonstrate some of the amazing work that is created here.

The Memory Dealer, an exclusive play test of Rik Lander's new interactive drama will start from the Studio at regular intervals that same day, so why not co-ordinate the two for an unforgettable afternoon.

The Studio is also taking part in the Digital Bristol Week Beyond Broadcast Day - Wed 30 Jan.

Digital Bristol Week is one of the largest free programmes of events, workshops and panels ever to be held in Bristol. The week-long schedule of networking, training and knowledge exchange for the creative industries is being hosted and produced by the BBC Bristol Partnership.
