Curator & Creative Producer Marie Foulston will discuss her recent work with Now Play This, a festival of experimental game design, showcasing interactive and playful work as part of the London Games Festival. As Guest Director Marie developed the programme, looking specifically at games that related to the theme of 'Breaking Point'- games are the aesthetic forms of systems, and the festival focused on works that break or subvert those systems in interesting and creative ways.
She will also reflect on her recent experiences of shifting her curatorial practice from the physical to the virtual. From organising a landscape photography tour for a herd of spacemen to hosting a party in a shared google doc.
Join us on Fri 22nd May, 13:00-14:00 for the talk and to take part in the discussion afterwards.
