Make Shift Fundamentals: Writing Equitable Contracts
Get your creative ideas off the ground in 2026 with Make Shift Fundamentals!
Throughout February 2026 join us for a 4-part masterclass for early career creatives 18-30s (ish) with members of the Watershed Team exploring everything from ideas development and growing audiences, to contracting and funding.
This session will be hosted by Jaz Pinckney who will share her thinking on how to write (and enter into) equitable contracts that are fair and work for everyone involved.
Bring along any ideas, projects or prototypes you have, but don't worry if you don't have anything ready to talk about, we can help get you going.
Timeline
17:30 - Optional drop in and get to see the space
18:00 - Meet Up start - Sharing something we love
18:30-19:30 - Session with Jaz
19:30-20:00 - Social and next steps
What is Make Shift and who is it for?
Make Shift is Watershed’s ongoing series of meet-ups, workshops, projects, and programmes built to support 18-30s (ish) people to explore their creative, tech, or film practice and grow their ideas.
Our Make Shift community has lots of people in the early stages of exploring what ‘their practice’ is or could be, and people in the early stages of careers in creative industries.
You don’t need to be working in creative industries or consider yourself to have a ‘creative practice’ to come along. If you’re curious then this is for you.
