Anna is an independent public policy adviser, researcher and writer based in Bristol. Her work focuses on the sociodigital, with particular interests in the digital welfare state, ethical issues around technology and AI, the future of work, and digital exclusion.

At the Studio, she hopes to explore the potential of technology to create and support relational practices, and has a possibly hare-brained plan to try to make a locally sourced computer.

She is a fellow at Connected by Data, member of the New Protagonist Network, and an associate at Careful Trouble, Rocket Science and 50 Degrees. She holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the University of Bristol, completed as a mature student, researching and writing about labour markets, precarity, policy transfer and universal basic income.
