As the Creative Director of Aardman Digital, Daniel gets to spend a lot of time doing fun things like making games, nurturing online communities, creating mutli-platform extravaganzas and generally solving other peoples’ digital problems.

Before joining Aardman, Daniel kept himself (and others) entertained as MD of Subsub Skills and Production, a recruitment 'boutique' and production company. He spent a stint lecturing in programming on the MLA course, and was both creative and technical lead on Light Up Bristol. He also was the co-founder of the Submerge New Media Festival, which gave him a warm and fuzzy feeling by bringing together creative people and seeing what happened.

He’s particularly interested in creative programming and the future of human/computer interaction and it's effect on society.

He likes philosophy, and if he wasn't so busy would love to work out the meaning of life.
