Erik Geelhoed studied psychology at the University of Amsterdam and worked in research at the Universities of Plymouth, Birmingham and Bristol before joining Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in 1992.

Erik has a strong interest in applying sound psychological method and sound statistical technique. He has undertaken a diverse range of qualitative and quantitative studies including field trials, controlled laboratory experiments, large scale surveys and in-depth interview studies.

The areas Erik has worked in are: Mobile appliances mediated communication, multi media and lifestyle research.
