Courtney is an electric music producer and sound design artist, exploring the relationship between sound and visuals in a way that allows the audience to interact or immersive themselves in.
Courtney Beckford is a London-raised Bristol-based sound designer and music producer, more known under his Hi5ghost aliases he is a core contributor towards bristols underground electric music scene with records on trendsetting labels Bandulu records, sector 7 Sounds, Cutcross records, and Ivylabs 20/20ldn. More recently Courtney's work has been featured in BBC three documentaries, EE and Wembley adverts and used by independent 3D animators.
Courtneys most recent work was a project that took field recordings from locations near water within the city. these sounds were used to create an audio track alongside responsive visuals. the project titled 'We Are Water' was created as a way to explore sound design with limitations around a theme focusing on nature within an urban city.
