Music Memory Box harnesses the evocative power of music to create a tool for people living with dementia to recollect, reminisce and reconnect with loved ones.Jasmine started off working in PM Studio as a Receptionist and from there began to work with Studio-based companies, Studio Meineck and Bristol Braille Technology. It was while working on Music Memory Box that she learnt to solder, and has since transferred those skills into working with local synthesiser companies; Bugbrand, Future Sound Systems, U.D.O Audio and Pusherman Productions.
Jasmine is collaborating with others to set up Bristol Communal Modular; a co-run, co-owned, co-built modular system based at Bristol Hackspace, open for all to come and play with and help to build.
Aside from her involvement in synths, Jasmine works on various musical projects under the alias ‘guest’. She is part of the Young Echo collective and is one third of Bristol band, Jabu. She is also very passionate about 16mm film and regularly collaborates with musicians to create music videos and live visuals.
