Bike Tag is a system of led lights, proximity sensors and a Smartphone application. Originally created during The Playable City Sprint by artists Jayoung Bang, Yunjun Lee, Tine Bech and Julian Sykes, it’s “an urban platform that gives cyclists a voice in their city.”Julian is co-founder of Hoffi, a Brand and strategy agency. He is also co-founder of thinkARK a voluntary social design group based in Cardiff. He is particularly interested in how games can be used to involve and aid in the process of understanding to new thinking and concepts. In a response to this he jointly set up a games festival (playARK) which hosted two days of talks and games. He is a regular member of Cardiff Design Festival and has had his furniture exhibited and sold worldwide. He is also a keen climber and thinks it is the only place he can get some peace.
