Steve Clarke
Steve is an environmental campaigner. He has been coordinating a campaign against the expansion of Bristol Airport for five years and is now working on a national level. He is a former solicitor and Green Party councillor.
Steve is currently working to stop Bristol Airport expanding by 2m passengers a year (www.eysonbristolairport.org). Out of this has grown a national airport campaign which he coordinates (www.noairportexpansion.org). Our aim is to pause all airport expansion, update planning laws and bring more resilience to the sector.
Steve's past projects include founding member of the Bristol Pound; a local currency which grew to be the largest such scheme in Europe.
He volunteers at Bristol Refuggee Rights on a weekly basis.
