A residency programme enabling artists based in the South West of England, to develop projects at the intersection of art, technology and culture.Tim Bamber is a composer, field recordist and sound artist living and working in London. Although he likes to break down metaphorical 'boundaries', he's more concerned about physical ones, and rather than be confined within the four walls of a studio, he likes to get out and about with a microphone as much as possible, collecting field recordings of the diegetic sounds that inform his compositions.
He currently likes to manifest these things within devised theatre & dance performances by companies such as Guerilla Dance Project, with whom he secured the Music and Sound Art Residency 2011, as well as his own music and sound art practice.
