In his films distributed by American production company First National between 1918 and 1923, Charlie Chaplin progressed from two-reelers to films of short feature length, culminating in The Kid. In The Idle Class, he plays the dual role of a neglectful and alcoholic rich husband and his double, the Tramp. In Payday (1922) after a difficult day at work, Charlie tries to enjoy his pay day without his wife knowing.

Don't miss this rare chance to see these two exceptional examples from Chaplin’s First National period - they are not to be missed!
