This clever American silent comedy from Germany’s master director Ernst Lubitsch stars Monte Blue and Patsy Ruth Miller.

Paul is happily married to Suzanna, living together in a quiet suburb. As Suzanna notices that their new neighbours are expressive dancers with revealing outfits, she demands Paul complain to them about their lack of morality. But as Paul knocks on their door, he finds out that one is an old flame. Four-way complications begin which are resolved in an astounding Charleston sequence!

Featuring some bravura filmmaking So This is Paris is rightly recognised as one of Lubitsch’s greatest cinematic achievements.
