BBC R&D Present Their Tools for Interactive and Responsive Storytelling

Lunchtime Talks at the Pervasive Media Studio

Talk

Fri 31 Jan 13:00

Pervasive Media Studio, Watershed

We are partnering with Digital Cities Bristol for this lunchtime talk where BBC R&D will present their tools for interactive and responsive media experiences and discuss how you can get free access to them.

As part of our regular Pervasive Media Studio’s Lunchtime Talk programme, BBC R&D present their StoryKit suite of tools for creating Object-Based Media experiences, as used for the pioneering BBC Click 1000, Instagramification and the interactive trailer for His Dark Materials, “Discover Your Daemon.”

They will introduce the tools, how they work and show you how you can get involved in exploiting this exciting new medium through the BBC’s Makerbox portal. Digital Cities Bristol takes place across the city from Sat 25 Jan - Sun 2 Feb 2020 and is an opportunity to boost your digital skills with free training and events as part of the Digital Cities initiative touring the UK.

  • The Pervasive Media Studio is located within the Watershed building, let us know if you'd also like a tour and we'll be happy to show you around. Send an email to studio@watershed.co.uk.
