For this lunchtime talk we welcome Mutiny (Sophie Mellor, Simon Poulter and Marcus Romer), a new public art organisation inspired by the potential of bringing new stories and experiences to audiences across the UK and Europe.

Mutiny are currently undertaking a two week residency at Pervasive Media Studio, developing their new project 'Locus Solus'. They will be talking about their practice within the context of making new physical and digital work as well as live theatre, design, YouTube, augmented reality and making things for public spaces. They will also be joined by leading augmented reality specialist, Nicolo Carpignoli.

During their residency at Pervasive Media Studio, Mutiny will be working with playwright Roy Williams; cultural consultant Lara Ratnaraja; Stefan Kazassoglou and Garry Haywood from Kinicho; and Nicolo Carpignoli to research and develop Locus Solus. After this R&D phase, Locus Solus will go will go out for testing nationally before becoming a large-scale touring project.
