Please note: This event took place in Sept 2020

Watershed’s Research team is taking over Lunchtime Talks in September to share some of the work coming out of two of our current programmes, Bristol+Bath Creative R+D and the South West Creative Technology Network (SWCTN). Come and join us to find out more about data, responsibility and digital placemaking.

This week we welcome Sam Brown & Alex Mecklenburg, who will be discussing their new community interest company - Consequential which supports those who invest, accelerate or scale digital and emerging technologies in building their own responsible innovation practices.

Alex and Sam will explore how the culture of an organisation is integral to its ability to thrive and be a responsible member of its community. The culture of an organisation always appears in its decision-making. For leaders to build an organisation that has the values and culture they want when they aren't in the room, they need to examine their process of decision-making and the decisions they make. With every decision a leader makes, they are creating culture.

In these times of uncertainty, how you're building your culture matters more than ever and is the thing you have control over for the future of your business. In this discussion, Alex and Sam will explore what questions you should be asking if you want to be intentional with creating your organisational culture, and what a thriving and responsible organisation can do.
