Rethinking the structures of the present for a different future
Please note: This event took place in July 2021
How can we think differently about the everyday structures of our lives, like the economy, social value, and culture, to build a more sustainable, equitable, and progressive world? What might new structures look like?
Join us for a free panel discussion about the different ways of understanding the economy, value, and processes at work in our world to consider structures for a better future. The discussion will be chaired by Simon Moreton, Senior Research Fellow, Creative Economies Lab, UWE with panel members Sam Brown - Business coach and the co-founder of Consequential,Indy Johar - founding Director of 00 and Dark Matter Labs, Bill Sharpe - Futures and Systems Practitioner and Liz Zeidler, Chief Executive, Centre for Thriving Places.
This event is presented by Bristol+Bath Creative R+D and is part of their Hopeful Futures series of free online discussions that aim to convene a global conversation about how we can develop a better future by exploring sustainable growth, alternatives to capitalist economies, inclusion, responses to climate emergencies, and responsible innovation.
