This witty queer romance follows a socially awkward, environmentally conscious teenager named AJ who is dragged to a coastal holiday park by her painfully 'normal' family, where she becomes unexpectedly captivated by lifeguard named Isla.

For AJ (Nell Barlow) planning a gap year trip to knit jumpers for elephants is much more appealing than spending a week with her family at their favourite coastal holiday park in Dorset. When she discovers the campsite doesn’t even have Wi-Fi, it promises to be the worst week of her life. But then a chance meeting with flirty resident lifeguard Isla (Ella-Rae Smith) changes AJ’s perspective. Perhaps being stuck there with no means of escape isn’t so bad when there is the chance she could fall in love for the first time…

Marley Morrison’s knockout debut feature is a sharply observed coming-of-age story that will make you wince and laugh in painful recognition of universal truths.
