Rooted in Bristol is a documentary celebrating the contribution that people of African heritage have made over many decades, in creating and sustaining kitchen gardens across the allotment communities of Bristol over the last 50 years or more. Many individuals have worked their allotments for decades and some have been using seeds, which were brought from the Caribbean and Africa. Rooted in Bristol explores individual histories and stories, and raises the question ‘who has access to green spaces and what are the barriers that exist to obtaining that access?'

An Afrika Eye project in collaboration with a number of different communities and organisations in the city.
