Mya Bollaers makes her stunning acting debut in this tender tale of a captivating young trans girl skater who is struck by the sudden loss of her mother at a pivotal moment in her life.

Just as Lola (Bollaers) learns that she can finally embark on her life-changing transition, she receives the news that her mother has passed away. Lola travels home for the funeral and to face her estranged father Phillipe (Benoît Magimel), for the first time in two years. Abiding by her mother's last wishes, the pair embark on a journey together to the North Sea to scatter her ashes.
