Based upon director Takashi Koyama’s original story, colorless takes us on a journey of whirlwind romance, mystery and intrigue, reminding us that what we might see on the surface isn't always the complete truth.

Up-and-coming photographer Shu (Daichi Kaneko) is looking for a muse and his big break. On one of his shoots he meets Yuka (Ruka Ishikawa), an up-and-coming model also on the lookout for her big break. As they start working together more and more, Shu finds himself falling in love with Yuka and a romantic relationship between them blossoms.

But that's not the end of the story. As Shu's career starts to takes off, the fledgling photographer begins to suspect that there's something darker lurking under his lover's apparent pure and innocent composure.
