Media Molecule Dreams Workshop - Creating Green Games and Interactives with Dreams

Dreams allows players to create anything from games to gadgets, music to movies, puzzles to paintings and everything in-between and beyond - all from their own sofa, with just a PS4 or PS5. Dreams is also a platform where you can share and collaborate with others or just play and explore the creations of people around the world.

Learn what Dreams can do and what was created as part of a collaboration with the UN’s Play for the Planet initiative. During the session you will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Dreams tool kit. All participants will be supplied with a PlayStation code to download Dreams for free so they can explore the creative tool and platform in their own time. After the workshop, participants are invited to follow up with Media Molecule’s Business Development Manager, Sarah Brin, for a one-on-one to deepen their understanding and explore how to use Dreams as part of their creative practice and, if desired, discuss possible collaboration opportunities.

Although this session is free of charge, If you have any financial barriers in attending, we are offering a limited number of first come-first served bursaries of £30 to attend. Please contact liz.c@watershed.co.uk to arrange a bursary in advance of the event.

These workshops are part of Watershed's The Future is Collective programme, supported by Arts Council England. They are also partially funded by Bristol + Bath Creative R+D.
