Talk

Please note: This event ended on 31 May 2024

In this Studio Lunchtime talk, Stuart Candy, futurist, educator and consultant, will speak about various ways of bringing futures to life.

Stuart has helped seed and grow a family of new cultural practices for thinking ahead that are now used worldwide.

Among his contributions are The Futures of Everyday Life, which is the first doctoral dissertation on foresight and design’s intersections. Stuart is currently the Benjamin Meaker Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Bristol.

Lunchtime Talks are a series of informal presentations. Hosted in the Pervasive Media Studio, they usually take place at 13:00 on a Friday, are free and are open to everybody.
