BFI Film Academy Showcase
Please note: This was screened in March 2015
Join us for this special showcase of films made by the latest participants of the BFI Film Academy in Bristol and BFI Animation residential. Talented and ambitious 16-19 year olds have been working with Watershed, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Calling the Shots and University of the West of England to learn about what it's like to work in the film industry. Alongside mentoring from professionals, the group have had the opportunity to get hands on with all aspects of the industry, from pitching film ideas to programming live cinema events, from storyboarding to being on set. This event - organised by course participants - is an exciting opportunity to see their work and hear from the group about their experiences.
