An impressive documentary about revered British art critic John Berger, author of 'Ways of Seeing' and other groundbreaking works, and one of the most revered writers and broadcasters of the 20th century.

The result of a five-year project by Tilda Swinton and Colin MacCabe to produce a portrait of this fascinating figure and celebrate his ideas, his art, and the man himself, it features four essay films that were originally created as individual works of art but, viewed together, they form a beautifully paced and meditative full length documentary. Conceived as 'exercises in thinking in film', they offer up a totally innovative portrait of an intellectual giant and a loving snapshot of an avant-garde icon.
