John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) returns with this brilliantly fun interspecies punk romance adapted from Neil Gaiman's short story.

It's 1977 in London (well Croydon to be exact) and wannabe punk Enn (Alex Sharp) has stumbled across a strange house party filled with neon latex-clad characters. It's here he meets and falls for Xan (Elle Fanning) and, intrigued by his promise to take her 'to the punk', their budding romance takes a screeching turn - literally into another dimension...

Stuffed with great music and eye-popping fashion and hair (the cast are clad in studs, leather, PVC - you name it - and Nicole Kidman as a punk matriarch is something to behold indeed!), this delirious sci fi musical is a beautiful ode to difference - and the act of not wanting (or caring) to fit in.
