This extraordinary documentary about the legendary Queen Of Jazz - Ella Fitzgerald - looks at the secret behind her timeless voice that could melt chocolate.

Just an ordinary girl with a show stopping voice that could take on almost any style of music, Ella Fitzgerald was a phenomenon, in possession of a voice that could span three octaves effortlessly with absolute pitch and perfect intonation. In this documentary we discover what made Fitzgerald sing the way she did by hearing from singers such as Dianne Reeves to jazz drummer and producer Terri Lyne Carrington among many other friends and collaborators who knew and loved her.

A thoughtful tribute to what would have been her 100th birthday last year, join us to uncover the history behind ‘The First Lady of Song’ and the impact that her voice had and still lives on through jazz today.
