Stanley Kubrick's science fiction classics returns to the big screen to mark its 50th anniversary, presented in the way it would have been screened 50 years ago.

Kubrick's 1968 meditation on mankind's future place in the universe is one of the most influential of all sci-fi films. Spanning across four movements from the Dawn of Man to a mission to Jupiter, computers and humans search for the truth behind a collection of ancient black monoliths with supernatural properties and unknown origins. A sci-fi symphony about the evolution of humanity and technology lingers on the mind like a riddle

We will be screening 2001 as per Stanley Kubrick's original instructions, which include a 15-minute interval and musical prologues for each part of the film
