A traditional family wedding in Palestine puts strain on the relationship between an old school father and his cosmopolitan expat son in this wry family drama from Annemarie Jacir (The Salt of the Sea, When I Saw You).

After years in Italy, architect Shadi (Saleh Bakri) returns to his native Nazareth to help his estranged father (Mohammad Bakri, Saleh's real-life father) hand-deliver his sister's wedding invitation in accordance with tradition. Travelling around the city together by car, often stuck in traffic, personal, generational and political tensions all rear their heads - can they bridge the gap between their radically different lives?
