Deaf Conversations About Cinema: The Miseducation of Cameron Post

Talk

Please note: This event took place in Sept 2018

The Miseducation of Cameron Post is a tremendous drama about a teen sent off to a 'gay reform camp' that scooped the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.

The 18:00 screening on Mon 17 Sept includes Descriptive Subtitles and will feature an introduction from Jo Kimber, Events Producer at Thorny and a post-show discussion with other audience members - both the introduction and post-show discussion will also feature simultaneous BSL (British Sign Language) interpretation.

From 19:40 please join Jo Kimber and the rest of the audience for Deaf Conversations About Cinema, an informal discussion about the themes of the film in the Café/Bar (Deaf and hearing audience members are both most welcome). You’ll receive 10% off drinks with your cinema ticket – so grab a glass and let us know your thoughts about The Miseducation of Cameron Post.
