A single mum is determined to reunite her family once again after being diagnosed with terminal cancer in this emotionally charged, heart-wrenching family drama from one of Japan’s most in demand film makers – Ryoto Nakano.

Tough loving matriarch Futaba (Rie Miyazawa) lives alone with her shy daughter Azumi (Hana Sugisaki) after her husband suddenly left her a year ago. When Futaba is abruptly diagnosed with a terminal illness, she makes it her last mission to use the brief amount of time she has left to bring back her husband, restart the family's shut-down bathhouse business, and set Azumi on the path to independence.

A heart-breaking and powerful drama of motherly love which received rave international reception, this marvellously tender tale won’t leave a dry eye in the house. Tissues are highly recommended!
