The discovery of an archaic device on a lifeless planet leads an Afronaut explorer to question the origins of civilisation through the exploration of decolonised identities, mythologies, cultural syncretism, ghosts, exodus and environmental collapse – all told through in an immersive theatre show imagined by artist and writer Edson Burton.

Becoming 2016's Artist in Residence provided Edson Burton with the opportunity to begin turning his idea into a reality, exploring the shape of the project and ways in which technology can support the storytelling.
