Directed by Akosua Lune, this short documentary invites a group of young people of colour to talk about the ways in which hair is intertwined with identity and how they have come to love and celebrate their hair texture. To understand that “this hair is beautiful”.

This documentary was made by young people on the BFI Film Academy programme and delivered by Watershed.
