Red Wasp Design have recently joined the Studio under our Graduate and New Talent scheme, and they're working on a single-player 3D game entitled Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land. Red Wasp Design's Tomas Rawlings will be hosting this talk about their 'Low to Zero Marketing Plan'.
While they're all up on making 3D models, coding graphics engines and designing games, as a self-published operation they face the new challenge of marketing their game in a crowded digital marketplace. While big titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops will spend over 4 times the development cost on marketing the game - what is the plan when you don't have $100 million spare to spend?
He'll be looking to open up the issue and share your ideas and thoughts on how to tell the world about your amazing project in the digital age. All are welcome and its especially suited to developers, film-makers, musicians, artists and writers who create in the digital space.
This Lunchtime Talk is part of Open Studio Friday, which takes place at the Studio every week

Lunchtime Talks are informal presentations by Studio residents and associates. They normally take place at 1pm on Friday, are free and open to everybody who’s interested in what we do.
After the Talk, we also invite you to stay with us for the afternoon to continue the conversation or work on your own projects. We provide chairs, tables, wireless and a great space. You bring what you need to work with (laptop/mobile). Our open afternoons close at 5pm.
