Seiichi Saito, founder of leading Japanese Creative agency Rhizomatiks shares his work and approach in an informal show and tell at Watershed’s Pervasive Media Studio. From large-scale campaigns for clients including Nike and Lexus, to live visuals and music videos for Squarepusher and holographic pop act Perfume – their work spans visuals arts, media arts, computer programming, architecture, engineering and more, and is shown around the world.

Founding member Seiichi Saito studied architectural design at Columbia University in New York and worked in advertising before returning to Japan to set up Rhizomatiks. He is noted for his three-dimensional interactive commercial art work, based on architectural concepts. Today he is the director of Rhizomatiks, he lectures part-time at the Tokyo University of Science and is creative Director of Tokyo’s Roppongi Art Night. He is currently collaborating with British Council and Watershed on Playable City Tokyo.
