Kamal Sinclair

Director of the Sundance Institute’s New Frontier Labs Programme, which supports artists working at the convergence of film, art, media and technology; as a Consultant to the Ford Foundation's JustFilms programme; and as artist and producer on the Question Bridge: Black Males art project.

We are delighted to host Kamal Sinclair, artist, researcher, and Director of the Sundance Institute's New Frontier Labs Programme, to explore the tough questions she has been asking around equity, equality and inclusion in emerging media. Kamal will share the highlights of Making a New Reality, a year-long research project aimed at investigating this question as a commission for Ford Foundation's JustFilms programme.

This talk is presented in partnership with i-Docs and Pervasive Media Studio.
