As the pandemic continues, the climate crisis worsens and governments fail citizens, our relationship with the news changes. In this talk, I explore my research with Clwstwr Creu on news delivery and trauma. Thinking about searching behaviour, how we take in updates and what we are looking for, when we search for news.

Titration definition:
Titration exposes a person to small amounts of distressing or trauma related material, in order to increase the window of tolerance to bear distressing things and avoid becoming overwhelmed. Therapeutically people attend closely to sensations they experience during this process, so they develop their capacity to engage safely with potentially distressing material.
Join us online on YouTube Live, or in the building on Friday 25th March 2022 at 1pm for the talk and to take part in the discussion afterwards.
