Make Shift
Hosted by
Make Shift is a space for 18-30 year old creatives to come together in the Pervasive Media Studio at Watershed on the first Tuesday evening of each month. This is an opportunity to meet other creatives in the city, use one of our hot desk spaces, seek advice on your creative project or next steps in your career in a welcoming environment.
Each month we have a guest from the Pervasive Media Studio who works professionally in the creative industries who will speak about their work and can give advice. Guest speakers will be experts in their field, from VR film makers to finance professionals.
For February's Make Shift, Watershed's Talent Development team members Liz Counsell and Victoria Tillotson will be sharing news of an exciting new paid residency opportunity at Watershed especially for 18-30 year olds! The Make Shift Creative Technology Residencies will be for 18-30 year old creatives who want to discover and explore how creative technology could develop their creative projects and careers. These residencies provide a paid residency period of discovery, guided research and design in the supportive environment of the Pervasive Media Studio.
