AI is a technology that is rapidly advancing and has the potential to change our world in profound ways. However, like all new technologies, AI has both its benefits and its challenges. In this talk, Pervasive Media Studio Resident Vince Baidoo will explore both the good and the bad of AI and delve into some of the controversies that have arisen around it, such as the use of AI in art and the question of what constitutes "real" art.

One aspect of AI that we will be examining is the way that it is helping neurodiverse individuals, as well as freelancers, managers, and leaders of all kinds. This includes chatbots like ChatGPT, which are designed to provide support and information in a conversational manner. However, we will also be discussing some of the challenges that AI is facing, such as planned obsolescence, gatekeeping, and selective outrage. These are important issues that we need to be aware of and understand if we are to make the most of this rapidly evolving technology.
