SPRING IS HERE!!! Come and Celebrate with Make Shift's March Meet Up!!

Make Shift Meet-ups are a space for early career creatives(18-30s -ish) to come together in the Pervasive Media Studio on the first Tuesday evening of each month.

Each month we are joined by someone working, making, or doing exciting things in creative industries to share some of their experiences and tips, and you can ask them some questions too.

In March we are joined by Will Hunter.

Will is a Creative Producer and PhD Student at the University of Bristol. He has a decade’s worth of experience working with artists, cultural organisations, specific communities, and academics to develop co-designed research projects relating to social and climate justice.

Will reflects that "research’ is perceived to be confined within the walls of universities, but as the ever-growing need for solutions to social issues rises, approaches to academic research also needs to evolve. Join Will to discover alternative research methods that bring together academics, creatives and people with lived experience to develop responses and solutions to social justice issues."

In this session you can have a go at imagining and designing your own creative research project that will support you to delve deeper into a specific social issue.
