Drawing on their diverse professional backgrounds and lived experiences, the panel will share insights into some of the barriers there are to working in Creative Technology, including inequity of access to skills and training, equipment, mentors and role models. The panel will go onto explore what can be done to shift who gets to work in the sector, why it matters and to provide real world examples of what they’re doing in their own work to currently address these issues. This panel will be relevant to anyone considering approaches that can benefit both young people and career pivoters, across a range of industries including TV, games and immersive technologies.
