Through this Lunchtime Talk, Sister Sylvester will explore the possibilities of working across artist books and essay films to create communal artistic experiences.

She will share insights into her practice, which brings together analogue and digital technologies to create collective experiences and invite audience participation, and will discuss her use of hand-made books and shared reading within projects such as The Eagle and The Tortoise, Drinking Brecht, and Constantinopoliad, and methods for exploring philosophical stakes of new technologies in Shadowtime and Our Ark.

Join us online on YouTube Live, or in the building on Friday 12th June at 13:00 for the talk and to take part in the Q and A discussion afterwards.
