We are very excited to announce that we are supporting Ida XR Studio to host their second Bristol meet up on Wednesday 23 September, but this time at University of Bristol's Creative Innovation Hub The Sheds.

This meet up will be a mixture of a workshop and a network gathering. We collectively chose to focus this session on marketing and comms as it is highlighted as a challenge by many people in the communities we support, particularly when creating Immersive XR work. It can be time consuming, can feel uncomfortable or exposing and sometimes difficult to know what to say, where and to whom.

Studio resident Jenny Grinsted (Storyteller and experienced Content Marketer for the likes of Ultraleap and Scandit) will lead this hands on workshop and explore creative storytelling methods to help you build your confidence in talking about your work to different audiences, and produce marketing materials that feel authentic to you. As well as theory, expect actual writing and drafting in this session.

The Ida Network is for women, non-binary and trans people working in, or curious about, the immersive XR sector.

“We are dedicated to dismantling the systems of oppression present in our industry and society, challenging traditional norms to create an environment where new possibilities, collaborations, and opportunities can flourish, enabling everyone to prosper.”

Leah Kurta, Ida Co-Founder
