ZOP Stokes Croft
ZOP Stokes Croft is an online peer to peer learning tool where people involved in the regeneration of this inner city Bristol area will be able to post their stories.
Made by
Rik Lander
Rik Lander is a maker of interactive narratives. In 2014 he won the RTS West Digital Innovation award for his pervasive drama The Memory Dealer which was staged at Bristol MAYFEST in 2013. This incorporated technologies created by other PM studio residents to create an immersive drama. His work…ZOP stands for zone of possibility and the site will be a peer to peer learning tool for anyone thinking about ground up regeneration through culture and activism. Anyone will be able to annotate, comment and add their own stories.
Made through the Centre for Moving Image Research, as of April 2016 we have made a demo prototype of our proposal. http://zop.space/sc
The central idea of the ZOP approach is that the content of the website is generated by citizen reporters who have been instrumental in the use of culture, activism, social resilience and entrepreneurship in the regeneration of Stokes Croft.
