Lunchtime Talk: Pleasure, Legacy and Discrimination
Fri 4 Sep 13:00-14:00
In this Lunchtime Talk, Jane Gauntlett discusses her most recent work, Legacy, and her experience dealing with burn-out and discrimination - and how her journey’s led her to build her new company, Tech, Paper, Scissors.
Jane is a writer for film and theatre, she is excited by a good story, mind trickery and turning audiences into participants.
Advances in technology have provided Jane with the tools to push audiences further, she likes to experiment with new inventions (Virtual Reality, Tactile and Audio...), however her focus is always on designing high impact experiences with a strong narrative.
Jane has an eclectic portfolio of working in the charity sector (Mencap, Mind), working as a freelance creative producer and collaborating with other artists and organisations. Mostly, Jane loves to explore new ideas. If you would like her to design an interactive experience for you, or if you are interested in working with her as a writer, speaker, creative producer or consultant, in fact, if you have any other ideas… please do get in touch.
