Pitch Us a Talk

Every Friday we offer free, informal lunchtime talks from people sharing projects, process, ideas and provocations around pervasive media and creative technology. If you or someone you know should be a part of our programme, contact Martin O'Leary.

Join Watershed’s research team as we tell you a little bit more about the kind of research we do in Pervasive Media Studio, where creative technology and arts & culture intersect. What paths led us to form our current professional motley crew? How did we settle on our three research themes of interest (which are inclusive innovation, hybrid products and experiences, and environmental emergencies)? Why are we so intentional about labelling the work we do as ‘research’? Who do we work with, and what opportunities are there for working with us? Find all this out, and more, as we launch our Research Team takeover of the lunchtime talk programme in May 2022.

Directions:

The Lunchtime talks take place in the Pervasive Media Studio Event Space. To access the Studio, please go to the Main Watershed Box Office entrance and go upstairs to the Café Bar. Walk across the cafe bar, turn right and walk towards the double doors. Go through into the corridor and walk all the way down until you reach the Studio. A member of staff will sign you in, and check your ticket, if you have booked.

The Studio is wheelchair accessible, and the events space has a hearing loop. The last talk of every month is BSL interpreted.

*Please note this is a hybrid event and will be live streamed so please be aware you will be in the live broadcast and recording when watching in the Studio.
