Australia based Leticia Cáceres has collaborated with many of the major theatre companies, venues and festivals around the country, including Blevoir Theatre (The Dark Room), Melbourne Theatre Company (Random), Queensland Theatre Company (The Orphanage Project, Far Away, Memory of Water), Sydney Opera House (Random, Hoods, Children of the Black Skirt) La Boite Theatre/Brisbane Festival, (kingswood Kids) Melbourne Arts Centre, Brisbane Powerhouse (Random, Hoods, Children of the Black Skirt).

She is the co-founder of nationally acclaimed RealTV. RealTV’s work for young people has been described as “cult viewing for young audiences” and features regularly on study lists nation wide. RealTV has toured extensively across Australia with Regional Arts Victoria, Queensland Arts Council, Come Out Festival and Barking Gecko Theatre Company. Their seminal work HOODS won the 2009 Matilda Award for Best Independent Production, the 2007 AWGIE Award for Theatre for Young Audiences and received a Helpmann nomination (2008). HOODS was presented at ASSITEJ World Congress (2007) and subsequently toured to Austria and Italy (2010). RealTV’s latest production War Crimes (commissioned by RAV and Sydney Opera House) toured Melbourne and Regional Victoria (2011).

Leticia’s other professional appointments include Intern Director and Associate Director for Queensland Theatre Company (2003-2004) and Artistic Director of TANTRUM Theatre (2006-2008). RealTV is currently working on several new commissions with companies across Australia.
