Anastasia is a dance artist and sociologist from St.Petersburg, now based in Bristol. Her practice explores the beauty and complexity of the ordinary, and dance that emerges from sensitivity to what’s around. She runs movement workshops in gallery spaces and co-runs IsJazz — monthly meet-ups for local creatives at the PM Studio. Her current inspirations: bread, somatics, moving in nature, and the acient pourousness between the sacred and mundane.
